3M ScotchPad™ Packaging and Protection Tape Pads (now sold by 3M as 3M™ Tape Sheets 3750P and 822) give you all the benefits of a roll of packaging tape in convenient, pre-cut strips stacked on a pad. Each pad holds 25 clear tape sheets, and every sheet has a removable paper liner tab so you can peel one off and apply it with one hand. No dispenser, no scissors and no knife required. Peel the back sheet off the pad and stick the pad to a wall, bench, cart or desktop, and you have a hands-free tape supply wherever you need it.
Why use tape pads instead of a roll?
Every strip is the same exact size, so labels get covered wrinkle-free and packages get sealed consistently without hunting for the end of the roll. Pads are portable and space-saving, so they ride along in an apron pocket, drawer, tool box or delivery vehicle for in-field repairs. Customers tell us they are a favorite for patching damaged beverage multipacks and cartons on the store floor, sealing outgoing mail, and covering labels on plastic bins to keep them readable and dry.
Construction
The strips are made with durable 3M™ Scotchpro™ biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film that is strong, conformable and resistant to impact shock. The backing resists edge tearing, splitting, abrasion, moisture and scuffing, and it is weather resistant with long aging for indoor or outdoor use. The pressure sensitive hot melt synthetic rubber resin adhesive is formulated to bond to bags, boxes, plastic film, powder coats, metals and glass, with no heat, moisture or solvent activation required. Once applied, the sheets perform through the normal temperature ranges packaged goods see in shipping and storage.

Sizes
The 2 in. x 6 in. pad (3750P) is sized for envelopes, small labels and quick patches. The 4 in. x 6 in. pad (822) covers a full shipping label or packing list in a single sheet. Both sizes have 25 sheets per pad and are sold by the individual pad, 40 pads per case.

Instructions
- Remove one sheet at a time by grasping the liner tab end and pulling the sheet free from the pad. Holding the sheet in a slight V shape keeps it from folding onto itself.
- Place the far end of the sheet down on the surface first and let the sheet adhere from that end back toward the tabbed end.
- Flip out the liner tab and press the whole sheet flat to remove wrinkles and air pockets.
- For one-handed dispensing, peel the back sheet off the pad and stick the pad to a vertical surface or table top in a convenient location.
- Apply at room temperature when possible. As temperatures approach 32 deg F (0 deg C) the adhesive becomes firmer and harder to apply, though applied sheets perform through normal shipping and storage temperatures.
- Store pads in a clean, dry place at 40 to 80 deg F (4 to 26 deg C) and 40 to 50 percent relative humidity.
