For 1/4" tape: if you add an empty white tape spool center over the new tape in the dispenser, it will unwind smoothly! Works like a charm!

Used this product to secure wooden fixtures to a carpeted surface. It adhered strongly to both the fixtures and the carpet without damaging either surface.

I love this tape and use it use it every day for my music classes. It works great to make a singing circle on my classroom floor and lasts a very long time. I also use it to hang posters and decor on the wall without damaging the paint. I love all the colors as well. For the best value buy it by the case...they even let you mix colors for a small fee. I highly recommend this product.

We use this product for the temporary seaming of PVC performance surfacing for Irish Dance competitions. It stands up to the percussive hard shoe style as well as soft shoe for 100 to 200 dancers per stage, depending upon the compeition. We tape a minimum of 8 - 28 foot seams/perimeter lengths per stage and not one pulls, tears or has lost adhesion with all the activity performed upon it.

I use this tape for video production and stage production work. Ie, taping cables down, grip work, etc. First impresions was that the tape is very well made, high thread count, thick, stiff, and sticky. What i liked is that the batch i got tears perfectly strait at 90 degrees unlike other tapes brands that sometimes have batches that tear on odd angles. As expected it left no residue on surfaces, but compared to other tapes I regularly use (ProGaff, Entertainment Industry Tape) this tape has a higher adhesion that did cause damage to some more delicate surfaces when removed. It seemed to pull up laquer/wax coating on flooring and wood surfaces. I mainly blame it on the poorly maintained floor laquer/surface, not the tape but as always, use caution when using on questionalble/delicate surfaces such as stained/sealed wood, painted surfaces, etc. Even with the high adhesion, undwinding the tape off the roll was easy, smooth, and consistent and is easy to tear. It's fairly noisy when unwinding which makes it hard to use covertly during a performance for example. Overall this tape is a joy to use, performs excellent and is the best I've used so far. It might actually be too much for some people's needs but you won't regret using it. I got a case of red 2 inch x 50 yard tape and I am very glad i did.

We use the black 2" x 60 for DJ work, taping down wires, light weight items. Low adhesion is perfect as tapes comes right off w/o residue after nights over...No prob using on hardwood floors, carpet, painted surfaces.

Awesome stuff at the right price. I use in a tape runner for cardmaking. (I think the person below who called it cheap junk probably didn't realize it was ATG tape and tried to use it as regular clear tape. Used that way, it would fall apart and seem useless.)

First, I will say that I am not generally a fan of glow tape; I find that it never seems to glow long enough to be of much use. Aside from attempting to mark hazards backstage with it, I try to mark doors and light switches with it but I have yet to find a tape that will hold a glow long enough to cover a whole show. The major use for glow tape with us is for spike marks where a change needs to occur in a blackout. Since this is a short duration preceded and followed by a lot of light, glow tape works well. For this use, glow gaff is the bee's knees. This stuff functions just like regular spike tape; you can tear it off the roll and stick it on the floor and it just stays, even under a lot of traffic. No more scissors and covering it with packing tape to keep it from curling off the floor! While it is generally a good tape, it does not hold a charge quite as long as the regular plastic/foil stuff. If I could find some glow tape like this that would glow for a couple hours (or indefinitely, i.e. tritium) and not require a NASA-like budget, I would give it a 5.

I make a lot of stationery, including my own envelopes. I use this rather than glue -- it's fabulous. I do not use the tape dispenser, I just tape it along the edge, cut it with scissors, then when I'm ready to use the envelope I just peel of the backing!

I used this tape to join adjacent panels in a sunroom. This tape was much easier to use than the original tape that has lasted 27 years ago, and had to be ironed on.
